In this image from shoot 1 that I have taken of a group of students in art, they are all being productive; drawing and painting etc. The frame of the image is effective because the image is full of different things to look at, because it is an art room there is art on the wall and therefore there is more colour, the backdrop of the shot is just as interesting as the other parts of the image, therefore because of the different content such as texture, it is a really interesting shot.
In this shot, the angle gives more insight into the art that is being created, the colours are very much in blocks, the orange surface of the table really contrasts well with the more dull black and white colours, there is little variation of tone in this image because it is very bright. The clarity of the shot is efficient in giving a realistic portrayal of a group of young people creating art.
The backdrop is black and white, blank and very different to the image that I took in terms of different things going on, the lighting is also very varying, because in the second picture the whole image is quite and a positive feel, whereas in the one I took it is darker and has more contrast. Both images depict a group of youth making art and so both contain the same message, of creativity.
Both images are also very much in the style of a documentary piece.
